What are your projects for 2004?

Just wondering what everyone's got on tap, floating in their minds, itching to be built, kind of projects for the coming year. Give us all a sneak peak into the cool and interesting builds that we can look forward to seeing the Progress threads.

I've got the Mr. Bean Mini on my list (hence my other thread question). Also planning a full detail Sauber/Benz C9 with the complete array of SMS accessories. Also planning some V12/K-car hybrid thing project, which is basically taking a small car kit (like Honda S-MX, or Toyota Bb) and jamming the Enzo V12 in it. All just floating around my head, nothing concrete yet.

Tell us what you're planning.

Hopefully things will go better next year, and I`ll be able to finish some stuff up I wanted to do this year. Including:

*Revell `99 Ram Air Trans Am with scratchbuilt supercharger and special wheels
*Revell `67 Corvette 427 coupe
*Monogram 1/8 Iroc Z
*Lindberg Firehawk with scratchbuilt supercharger
*Tamiya F50
*Tamiya Supra
*Revell Yenko Camaro when it comes out

I am always in the market for a Ferrari 288 GTO or Monogram`s 1/8 `79 Trans Am. And, I would like to start on the project I`ve been planning for AF`s model of the year contest, which tentatively involves a pickup truck...a wild one. We`ll see though...

Hmmm funny i was thinking about this last night

here's a quick short list
*Hasegawa EVO IV
*Hasegawa Idemitsu Mugen Civic
*Tamiya R34 GTR w/ SAS N style kit
*Tamiya AE92 Corolla FX Rebuild
*Hasegawa EVO II
*Hasegawa Lancia Delta Integrale
*Fujimi Soarer
*Fujimi FTO
*Tamiya Ferrari F310B

And the biggest one would be my super detailed Fujimi SW20 MR2 GT, which i think will probably take the longest to build.

Re: What are your projects for 2004?

Next project is going to be a HR31 GTS-R "Tohge" kit, which I'm going for a "very pimped out" feel with.
I've got Bersaglio 19" rims, and a cannon style muffler coming from HLJ, and I may also order a GT-wing. Its going to be a nice, deep, shiny black of some description, and very low, with a mixture of race/luxury style inside. I'm considering buying and mangling one of the dub city diecasts and ripping out the PS2 controllers, TV etc .

I build one at a time- so thats the list for now!

These are my favorite threads. Gets you excited about the new year coming and to see how well we come close to the predictions.
I'm hoping to finish my 98 Toytoa Corolla WRC Tein Sport. It is proving to test my skills and it is my first rally car. Other cars for 2004:
Tamiya Toyota Supra, just looking for rims for it right now.
AMT Corvette and 55 Nomad bash, lotsa cutting going on here.
And in no particular order:
Mercedes 190E.
One of the many Lamborghini's I have
The Testors Porsche Carrera.
That should do it for '04

It's been awhile since I posted in this forum. I've been working on my real car so much that I haven't had the time for building scale models. Maybe some of the moderators remember me.

Anyway, to get back into it I am working on the Tamiya Calsonic Primera right now and will probably build another Galant VR4 model like the one I built pictured below. I want to use one of the rally kits I have of it but build it as a street car with the full cage and whatnot and paint it the same color as my car.

Gotta clear the '03 leftovers off the bench first...
So my New Beetle "Evergreen" is gotta be done 'so far gone and still so far to go'. Then there's that 300Z vert. that been hanging around for months. I did get the PE set for my Tamiya Ferrari F50 so that has moved up a few spots on the list.

The projects that are in my head may well remain there at least till I figure out how to scratch build about 75 % of one and the second is well, still in the research stages.

Talking

Gonna get a long awaited project on the go. Gonna do a street version of the Mercedes CLK DTM 2000. Could imagine myself doing a whole bunch of these actually in the future as this car and the Nissan 350z are probably my favourite two tamya cars.

Later, Mike

Exactly, plenty of half finished (or barely begun) projects to sort out!

After (or before) that, I want to do an F1 this year, either the new Williams FW24 or a Lotus 107C Mugen conversion. Then there is a McLaren M8B and the new Fujimi Porsche 917K. Not to mention about 50 different rally projects I have in my head...
