steering vibration and ?warning lights?
Hi,
I have a '92 Accord LX automatic93,000 on the body and 32,000 on the just replaced engine (due to lack of oil changes). I have noticed at times, esp when idleing the steering wheel vibrates heavily. The tach remains at ~750-800 rpms. What could be the cause of this? Also (I don't know if this is related but,,,) all the door adjar and brake warning lights all go on and off once in a while. The prior owner didn't own the vehicle long (neither have I so far) said those little red lights go on and off once in a while and he didn't know the cause. Is this a short or some sort of warning device? Thanks Jon |

Re: steering vibration and ?warning lights?
the brake lights might be the sensor in the ebrake handle or something...no biggie...the door thing can be a bad connection for the door switch
remove the door switch and play with it, see if u see rust... umm ur idling.....does it go it more in reverse or in drive? ur idle rpm seems fine, id check the front motor mount to see if its bad...look at it and feel for rubber touching in 3 spots...if not then its ur mount...

Re: steering vibration and ?warning lights?
I don't believe it is simply just a light or switch since all 4 door adjar, rear hatch and brake light warning lights all go on and off simutaniously. It makes me wonder if something else is up.
