WRX vs. Audi 1.8T Quattro

If you want to objectively compare them, you should post this in the Car Comparisons forum in the Cars in General section.

Overall though, from the problems I have heard of with the Audi, I would stick with the proven reliability of the Impreza.

WRX. the Audi is sexier but that aint gonna win u the race. and it depends on wat tranny the A4 is runnin the CVT or 5spd manual.

ok yea the audi tt is over priced.....but its not twin turbo just to let u kids know...it only comes in a 1.8T 180hp or 225hp....which my mom owned the 225hp that thing had some pull in the 2nd and 3rd girl when the turbo spooled up

but it'd be a good race between the WRX and Audi 1.8T but the WRX would win in this case cuz of more torque and horsepower 180 and 227 are really different, even tho the WRX is weighed down by the AWD so is the Audi so....in this case the WRX would win

Completely different cars. The Audi is more classy, refined and soft-edged, while the WRX is a much sharper drive but has a vastly inferior interior.

if you want to compare an audi and the wrx, compare the s4.
you also don't note years for both cars.
that'd be nice to have.
the older biturbo s4 would eat the wrx.

and even a modded a4 1.8t quattro can beat on it.
the 1.8t is good for 400+ on the stock block. mild suspension work, and you're running with, and beating the wrx (even when you start modding)

a sexier car won't win races, but consider that audi's quattro awd systems is banned in most major racing series, save for things like speed's GT series, where the rs6's own cars like vettes. so don't claim that the a4 won't hold it's own.
the history is even stronger for the audi compared to the wrx.

There is no comparison between the two.
The Audi is a far far far superior automobile!!!
Anyone who has seen the interior of a subaru can tell you there is absolutly no comparison.
A4, is a much better all around choice for the dollar.

well, the points that i have are a better argument for why the audi is better...
and it's easier to get a ton of power out of the 1.8t...
not that the ej20 is a dog, but there are a considerably higher amount of tuned 1.8t's, stock, that make more power...
