2000 Jimmy Outside Temperature Display is off

Why is my 2000 Jimmy S15 SLE Outside temperature display (not the engine temp) always 5-8 degrees too hot?

My 2000 always reads about 4-6 degrees too hot, too. Any way to calibrage it?
