would this trade be asking too much?

Hello all,

I recently put my car up for sale to buy a home but the more we thought about it, I really need a commuter for my new job, I put an insane amt of miles on with work, and the Jeep will die if I keep it up...

But with the family, safety is a huge concern so we discussed possibly getting a 92-95 civic with airbags.

I want to know if it would be feasable to trade someone for a 92+ civic straight up for my car. (oh btw, it is on ebay if anyone is interested to see the mods I have to determine if it would be worth it...just search 91 civic hatch and I am the only one up there) -y8 swap and Si trans, lowered, HX wheels...lots of great stuff....

I have alot into my car and IMO, it is just awesome...I still dont want to sell or trade it... I just wanted to get an opinion on the trade...I though maybe someone out there with a stock civic may want to step up without paying for all the mods,

Well first of all your call looks very good. Why dont you sell your jeep and keep the 91 hatfch oh well. Um i personally think that the 92-95 year civics are like hondas not so good years. It think you could trade you hatch for at least a 94 with a good body and average miles. Just check the blue book. I personally think you shouldnt its such a great car, and with the newer engine the car will last for at least andother 100k miles or more.

I think its definitley feasible to trade a modded 4th gen for a stock 5th gen... I see people wanting to trade their 5th gens and 2nd gen tegs for crx's and hatches pretty frequently...

Ah, if I don't sell it or trade, it won't kill me We are looking ok for the house down payment now, but we really could have used the extra cash...

But I feel like I would be cutting off my right arm by selling this car...I love this thing! At least if I traded it, I'd still have a Honda so it wouldn't be as bad.
