which type of nitrous

Hey this is my frist tread or whatever, ive been looking and i didnt see any threads on my qestion. So i dont know if theres one about this or not.
Anyway ive been reading alot of stuff on this site and learning that alot of people use nitrous. I was just wonderning what type of system do you use and brand. I have a 93 vtec with a h22 and im thinking bout geting nitrous soon. But i want to get a ok kit that doesnt cost over 800$. the only mods i have in my engine is a aemcold air intake, pulleys, cam gears, and a neuspeed header. But the rest is stalk like all my fuel stuff. I would just like to know what you perfer direct port, wet, or dry and what you think i should get and up grade if i get it. I want to keep the shots like 45 or 50 what ever you think my engine can handle. I dont plan on useing it all the time, mayebe just on weekends or soo. Ill take any advice you got. thanks

I'd go with the ZEX 'dry' system, its $499 and seems to be the easiest to install and operate. I'm thinking getting this for my 95 SI which has similar mods as yours. Until you start building up the lower end I'd stick with a 'dry' system. The ZEX is nice because its activated at 'wide open throttle' and is all computer controlled so you don't have to worry about running to rich or lean (or so they say, hehe) If you get it let us know how you like it (I need to get rims first before I get the kit, hehe)

Re: which type of nitrous

Thanks, i just found a site that sells it for 499 like you said. Sounds like a really good deal. If you to get it would you get a new fuel pum, or fuel rail or regulator? Also do you know how long a 10lb bottle will last like if i set it to 50 shots. The last thing i have know idea how much it cost to get refilled ive seen many places around where i live but never found out do you happen to now.

Check out this link, I think it will answer most of your questions:

As for how much to refill, I'd like to know the answer to that too, hehe, I have all the details on the systems and what to get and how to install but I have yet to hear how much it is to refill a bottle, lol. Oh in case your wondering, I would go with the 55HP jet first and see how your engine handles that before jumping to the 75 shot, just an FYI. Good luck man!
