Question H23A1 with H22A1 head

i have a friend that has a 1992 honda prelude. he told me that thier are people that put h22a1 heads on thier h23a1 engine. what i want to know is if this is possible and if it is can u write it down or give me a link that tells u how to do it and all of the things u need to do the swap

yes it is possible, and I believe is a very good upgrade. But you will be required to locate a vtec head first, then I think custom fabrication will be required to put the vtec head onto the block.

I am planning to do the same head swap soon. I did some research and found this information about 4 months ago and immediatly put it in a safe place for future referance. I dont know if this is all truth or not but this guy says he did it and tells problems he had and solutions to them. I will private message them to you N_E_R_V_EVA01 and will do the same for anyone else interested. If anyone has any experience with this, pointers, stories, ect....they would be much appreciated.

use the search function, and you'll find a lot of discusions about this. there was a whole long write up about it, in one of the threads, a while back.

i got a H23A1 block with a H22A1 head all u need is a H22 water pump and the crankshalft timing belt pulley.....dats all u need
