Unhappy 92 Camaro RS

Help! I need help!! I have a 92 Camaro RS with a 350 engine......If you leave everything off while you're driving (i.e. ........headlights, radio, heater or air....etc..) it will start back up just fine. But if you run any of these.....including using the electic trunk latch at any time.......the car will not start back up again until it sits awhile. If you start and stop several times during the day it will slowly begin to drain the voltage on the battery meter. We have replaced the alternator.....& the battery! Any suggestions??

Re: 92 Camaro RS

best bet is a ground, have fun hunting all your wiring harnesses, aint electrical problems fun and no, the third gen RS did not have the 350, unless its a B4C police package camaro, those were Z28's in RS clothing. so the 350 must have been a swap. but yeah, the electical problem is more likeley than not a ground out that is draining the battery.

Starter, Starter, Starter

I Had The Same Problem With My 92 .....i Also Replace The Battery And Alternator ........it Turned Out To Be The Starter (even Though The Starter Turned Over When Everything Else Was Off). And Yes It Will Happen Again About Every 40000 Miles.

Sounds like starter is drawing to many amps after it gets hot.

Re: 92 Camaro RS

whoa sorry, just noticed somethin, hey chevyracin, did you say that 92 was the last year for a 350 V8??? what about the LT1, from 93-97? that was a true 350. the LS! is actually 347 or something, but its still referred to as the 350. the small block V8 is alive and well my friend
