91 Cav question
Im switching my block out for a v6 instead of the 4 banger that I have. Just wondering if I should stick with the same year Cav z-24 3.1 V6 or something else with more power. Something that would mount onto my tranny already in there so I don't have to swap the tranny, since it's been rebuilt with new componenets etc. Just some feedback.

Re: 91 Cav question
if you really want to switch out the stock 4 banger for a v-6 not only will you have to the wiring and computer controls as well but, i will assume that you already knew that.

Just out of curoisity here, why do you want to change to the V6? I am pretty new to this car, but it is already clear to me that the 4 might be a better choice. Better initial fuel economy, and MUCH more hop - ups are available, it seems.
I wonder if the harness from a V6 would plug into the computer of a 4? Probably not, huh? |
