Some more Q's

I got some blue back-up lights but they were the wrong size but they fit my front blinkers. Just wondering If they're street legal if i put them in the front. I'm guessing they should be because I've seen BMW and Audi with a bluish tint. Another thing is my Malibu's been eating alot of gas. Well it seems to be eating alot of gas, i'm not very sure. Does the Air filter have anything to with Gas milage cuz my air filter looks like crap.

to start off, i'm not too sure about the bulbs. u may have to find that info from your local DMV. as for your gas miliage, YES, your filter has a LOT to do with ur gas miliage. ALWAYS change your filter every 300 miles along with your oil. if you live in a dusty area, like a desert, u may have to change it more often. also, use a HIGH OCTANE gas. i like to use Cheveron myself. another thing that affects it is driving habits. the longer you stay in the high RPMs (4K-5K), the more gas you're gonna burn. i get about 33MPG Hwy. which is about the best you can get from a malibu. but i plan to get a Tonado device to see if that changes anything.
remember, your engine needs to breathe. if it can't get air to mix with the gas, it's gonna burn more gas.

dirty air filter = bad milage

I replace mine as often as possible, usually when I change my oil.

The tornado thing wont help - I know someone with one in his grand am

Re: Some more Q's

Is there any body kits available for a 1985 corolla sr5.
If the body kit say universal. is that mean it will fit in any cars?
How much does it cost to make my car look good?

Re: Some more Q's

Because! I want people's opinion and know the actual price of a body kit instead of getting fooled by the automechanic shop. If i can get it cheaper (second hand-because someone here have the item i need) then i can fix my car myself instead paying for the service of installing the body kit before the shop can repaint it. Why do you care so much?

Why are you posting in a Malibu forum where the topic was about blue lights? That's what was confusing.
