car stalls after a while

car stalls after a while when driving and wont accelerate eveen when you step on the gaz ...
when it does that what i do is go on the side of the road and restat the car and it runs fine again for a while and then stalls again , what could be causing that ?

Don't know which car, but check the gasoline filter, might be clogged.

yea check fuel filter and spark plugs and wires.

forgot to mention that i'm having some battery/Alternator problems toooooo :-( and so i cant always start when it stalls...
my bat is fine but i think my alt belt needs to be changed.

ok so ....
the alternator belt could be causing the stalling ?
