Talking pls help 88 CRX

hello everyone,,,,,,,

I was looking for a CRX and came across an 88, but I don't know if it a SI, DX, or HF......anyone know what is the difference between those...........

any info will be greatly appriciate.

Well first of all for the Si look for a sunroof, only Si's had them. The Si and DX but came with 16 valve motors, and the HF has an 8 vavle motor.

So, if it has a sunroof its a Si. No sunroof but with a 16vavle motor its probably a DX. No sunroof and pissy little 8 vavle motor then its a HF.

Oh, and you'll be able to tell an Si but its interior.....like the door panels say CRX on them. Im sure theres more ways to tell them apart, but thats all I can think of at the moment.


One more thing, an Si has 4 wheel disc brakes.

Actually, only the 90-91's had 4 wheel discs. Another easy way to check if it's an Si, on the back a little corner piece of glass should say Si.
