#1 The Camaro is out, it can't handle the heat of this country.
#2 So much for "The Camaro is out...", I found one which is tuned to handle the heat and its 1995 for 2.5K, its not my final decision though.
#3 Camaro is out, someone bought it before me.
#4 Found a 300ZX 1986 in good condition for 2400, will take it for a check up on thursday.

I'm working on it, but I'm pretty sure GTStang have enough torque to do so.

yo GT, i don't think you've ever posted pictures of your car. Care to show us - there is a popular believe that it's off the chain and i'd like to take a gander.

Thanks for the comments Flow and the others, We had a couple of our regular stangs MIA for the final, Todds Notch decided to break some rods at Englishtown a month back, and decided on something bigger, so Mike with the candy red notch stepped in and tried to take out the points leader and keep Todd on top, Mikes notch didn't like the new tires and overpowered the track from start to finish. And another note on Bob Hanlon, He was rowing gears while in the air and straight as a bullet, anything under nine seconds is a handful these days.

The term rowing the gears just means shifting threw em. It's an old school term for us V-8 guys. Thanks for the confidence Hi-Flow but I don't think I got enough to get both in the air. I'm trying to keep th car fairly streetable considering I drive it a lot.

I have been meaning to ask Hi-Flow you selling your notch? No more project monster notch?

Re: Bob Hanlons "ALL MOTOR" Mustang, Pro Street Champion !!

Yeah it's for sale, actually sitting in the front yard with a sale sign on it. LOL
I don't really have the time or money right now to do what I want with it. If I still have it in the spring, then maybe I'll start something with it.

Thats one awesome pic. Made it my background. BTW, whats with the rear tires? Do they have to deflate it partially to get it to pop up?

The notch will be built!!!! What were ya basic plans for it?

Those tires are drag slicks the don't have stiff sidewalls, they are designed to crinkle lack that for maxium bite.

Re: Bob Hanlons "ALL MOTOR" Mustang, Pro Street Champion !!

My plans for the Notch?
Wanted to make it a street legal drag car. Was going to gut it, then concentrate on the chassis first. Tubular K-member, roll cage, decent drag style suspension, but nothing crazy. Then I wanted to get either a CHP 347 or DSS 347, build up a decent motor from there. Too many ideas to really list, but those were the basics. I wanted to stay NA, but then recently had thoughts about going forced induction. So that would change my choice of motors.

That's pretty much a wish list right now! I'd be happy picking up a cheap donor car just to get notch running with an V8. Oh yeah, the notch needs some body work to fix the front end damage, that the prior owner caused.

How about a caged/back-halfed chassis with a nitrous fed Ford big block?
