Frickin Preps!!!!

i'm so god damn sick of all these preppy kidz and they're nice cars. i'm goin to a pretty nice school purely for my major and i feel like killing half the kidz i meet here. so far on the campus i've seen students driving m5's, tons of m3's, z3's s2000's, an xj8, rx7's, itr's, sc300's, rsx ts's, tt roadster's, slk230 kompressors...i could keep naming them. AM I THE ONLY KID LEFT THAT HAS TO FUCKIN WORK FOR THEIR CAR??? i'm 19 and i've been working my ass off for a car since i was 15, and somehow i'm still nowhere close to my rx7. only me and one of my friends, here and back home, don't have cars cuz our parents don't spoil us.
and then my parents buy my brother a 98 civic 3 door with 25k on it and sell it to him for $4k and then offer me the same price for our 95 626 w/ 65k on it. i can't quite get it through to them that the bluebook value is less than that. whatever
thank you for your time, by listening to my bitching you have allowed me to live for another week

Amen Nismo, go up to a preppy on the street and ask them what a Camshaft is, an they will look at you like you just landed from space.

Sorry to hear of your woahs. Dont worry about what other people have -you'd just be tilting at windmills. Just work hard and take care of yourself. Good things will come in time.

Are you sure you dislike the preps? Or are you just envious of their cars and financial situation?

I feel you forty. I know what its like. But remember that almost all those peoples car are paid off by their parents. When there mommy and daddy lets them live on their own, they won't be driving m3's and shit. Just think positive, do well in school, and pretty soon, you will be making more money than you can handle. You will be able to afford any car you want and if you ever see those people again, show them whats up now.

On the other hand, If I owned an M3, I would flaunt it as well. Whether I payed it or my parents did. If I did, I would show it off and let people know I payed for it. If my parents paid for it, I would show it off and let people know that my parents are successful, thus I have this car. And then I'd rub in that I am going to follow in their footsteps, so that when I get older, I will pay for my kids cars too.

I am to tired to rephrase this as it sounds crappy but you get the point

you know what i'm thinkin? i'm thinkin that all of those cars that the preppies own are all in automatic transmission...not a clutch in sight..they'd drive an suv, but they wouldn't know about the four wheel drive function......stupid people that dn't know about their automobiles...if you have something that beautiful fr a car, at least make sure that you know every detail abuot it... study it...cherish it as your own...and for God's sakes would ya please buy a Manual? it's a dying art

Hey kbslacker........what the hell are you talking about?

i was talking to Hogie about his sigs, not Yogs about, well, anything at all. I know Yogs put in his time at school, has a successful career, and on top of that.......errrrr.....i didnt say a single word to him in this post.

I was talking to HogieGT-R, not YogsVr4, who is a great guy from what ive seen here. I wasnt flaming anyone.

Look at HogieGT-R's signature if you know what i mean. It goes something like "Had me? You never had me! You never had your car!" Which would apply to all the poser preps out there that we are talking about on this thread. It was just interesting that TFATF can actually apply to something........

So.....i wasnt flaming anyone...errrr....at all....

I hate kids that get everything handed to them. 9 times out of 10 preps are just fakes who think they are better, but are just worthless sacks of shit. That almost sounds like a cop too. Hmm, make you wonder?

I don't hate them. For instance I went to school with a spoiled biotch.

1. Daddy buys daughter 2001' WS-6
2. Daughter hits curb @ 60 mph
3. Daddy pays me to fix said WS-6
4. I explain to Daddy " sell engine, transmission, differential to me and total it".
5. I sell trans, eng, and diff to friend.
6. Daddy buys 2001 V-6 Camaro and gives to daughter
7. Daughter hits school gym with camaro/ engine falls out
8. Daddy pays me to fix
9. I say "sell engine, trans, final drive to me and total car"
10. I sell eng, trans, f-drive
11. Daddy whines and cries that all he can now affor is cavalier
12. I take money made and buy nice car

Work the system people!!

There are always going to be the "haves and have nots." That's life. It is unfortunate that these kids who are well-off have to throw it in other people's faces and act like they are better than you, but at some point the act gets old and they wind up with no friends because no one wants to put up with that for long. I have seen it happen. Not all well-to-do kids are like this, there are the respectable ones out there.

I am proud of the fact that I have worked for what I have. My cars were always mine, and my parents couldn't take my keys cuz my name was always on the title. Working for something also gives you reason to go out do something for yourself...something to look forward too.

Life is too short to worry about what other people have and what you don't. Money does not fill the hole in your heart when you lose someone you love, and you can't take it with you when your time comes. Money does not make problems disappear....well except for financial problems

Like Yogs said: "Just work hard and take care of yourself. Good things will come in time."
