Angry Several Mother Frickin ?'s

Ok, I love my civic and all but it's really about to piss me off. I posted a thread earlier talking about how I ditched my civic and did a crap load of damage. Well I figured out that the hub of the steering knuckle on the drivers side is bent out of place and I need to replace that knuckle. Well, the week before last my car started to over heat. I of course checked all my fluids, found out that my anti freeze was low and topped it off (didn't help), checked to see if the water pump was ok (it was) and determined that the thermo was stuck shut. I replaced it and did an oil change (oil was low), still over heating, so I check the electrical, my fan isn't coming on (relay screwed), so I bypass and now my pump seems to be going out. As if that wasn't enough, this 83 yr old lady runs into the passenger side front of my car and now my car is making this horrible metal to metal screeching sound at low speeds and low speed sharp turns. There's a light high pitched hum at higher speeds (40+) but nothing annoying. I just replaced my brakes so I know that they arn't the problem and I noticed today that the camber on that wheel is off. I'm thinking a bearing's going out or a combination of that and the hub for that knuckle is now bent too. So here's my ? Has any had similar probs, if so what was wrong, what year civics can be a doner for my suspension (I know that some parts from the 96-99 models will work), and what else could that screeching noise be? Thanks in advance for all the help.

Re: Several Mother Frickin ?'s

Also, do you need a special tool to remove and replace CV boots on the drive axles?

Re: Several Mother Frickin ?'s

If the boot on the axel is broken chances are ur axels are already fucked. don’t you have insurance to pay for the damage? did she have insurance? sound like you need to check all the suspension parts on that side of the and check for bent items, binding of any kind. parts off integras are interchangeable with civic 5th gen civics. Most 96-00 civic suspension parts aren’t interchangeable because of the different suspension geometry that year civic had.

Re: Several Mother Frickin ?'s

I'll get under the car later this week and check everything out. What parts are different on the 96-00 Civics? I've already swapped the stabilizer on the drivers side with one from a 97 ex. Everything lined up just fine, and I know that most aftermarket suspension set ups are compatible from 92-00.

Re: Several Mother Frickin ?'s

I think that it's safe to say that all the suspension parts I need are from the front. I'm sure most of it matches up but the biggest thing I'm wondering is whether or not earlier model civics could provide parts for the suspension as well?

Re: Several Mother Frickin ?'s

Isnt the suspension from the late model CRX's the same as the 92-95 civics?

Re: Several Mother Frickin ?'s

Alright, I got a chance to crawl under the car today. The rotor is rubbing against the dust shield. The camber is off and is running only on the outer half of the tire, it's not as bad as the other side. It doesn't look like the axle is bent but it would appear that the cv boots have been leaking some grease, not much, but some. I'm going to pull the rotor tomorrow and see why and where it's rubbing. Until then, any ideas?
