Easiest/best way 4 running wiring thru firewall?

I have a '98 Pathfinder. Does anyone know what the easiest/best way is for running wiring through the firewall into the engine compartment?

Nothing really big, maybe just two 16 gauge wires for a switch.

The easiest way that i found was run it up thru the fender to the door, from the door go thru the little hole in the dash where the speaker wires run from and then your in

Run it through an existing gromet in the firewall where other wires run through into the passenger compartment. no holes to drill and your not going to see it.

BFinlay has it right. Use an existing grommet and if you really cant locate one then drill a hole but make sure you fit a grommet & if you have never done it before be sure you get the right point of entry/exit on both sides so easily accessable.
