Mustang vs spyder gst
Takes place on a sunday, day after Imports vs Domestics at the local track here in Arizona. Was heading home after grabbing a spare tire from the shop. I see a older style mustang, looks good but thats not what caught my eye. Is was the huge writing on the rear winsheild. The words "IMOPRT KILLER" was writen. I was like ok hes got some balls. So i Pull up to the guy, look over it looks like a son/dad duo. Son looks 25 or so dad looks in his early 50's. I politely ask what you runnin bro. Not reving, letting my bov sound, just curious about what the import killer is running. The driver spoke, says hes running a 403, or whatever line of motor that is. I ask about a 1/4 mile time he states 12.5. Im very sceptical now. Usually a 12 sec mustang sounds loud. But thats not what called my bullshit flag. Its when he got on it and barely passed a few cars going the speed limit. So I gently pass a few cars to catch him at the next light. I end up in the next lane 1 car back. Him to the left me 1 car back in the right lane. Light turns green he gets on it again. I take the bait this time getting in his lane attempting to follow. At this time im 3 cars back in the left lane he switches to the right, no cars ahead both of us getting on the throttle. I hit my dual stage boost controller to 19 psi. by 60 mph hes a bus ahead. Im pulling hard, hoping he dosent back out, he doesnt. I pull to his back bumper at 80 mph. No cars ahead both caught a green light still on it. at 90mph im side to side switch to 4th gear and pull ahead, hes to my back bumper. seeing the light ahead was turning yellow, we both slow and catch the red. As i look over to him, looks like hes expecting some sort of smart ass remark. I say, i dont know about a 12.5 1/4 mile but its pretty quick. he gives me a thumbs up as do I. Light is green he makes a right. I head on home hitting the next red instantly when a mustang svt convertible pulls up. The guy says, " I watched you hawk him down back there, great run. I reply thanks, he shoulda had your car.. all smiles all the way home.

well yeah of course there are always exceptions out there. just like how must 240 owners are elites who treats other people realy badly. but i'm one of the few nicer guys out there.

yea nice kill but i was wondering if that is your car where is your fmic? just wondering because most of the dsm i know need a fmic to rune saftly at those boost levels... nice kill tho.. makes me want to own a dsm even more..
