Hmmm, can you express them in japaneeeeeeeeeeeeeeese words?!?!?! (just kidding). I wanna learn japanese. Anyway, youre not gonna fail, the best thing to do is not worry about it, just do it. The more you worry about it the more youll expect problems, the more you expect problems the more youll have, if that makes any sense. Just go in there, do it, and youll do perfectly fine.

Anyway, best of luck to you!!!!!

I know it probably sounds really lame, but I found when I had exams that the best thing to do was remain calm and keep a positive frame of mind. I know it sounds easier said than done, but it really did help me heaps.

Good luck and I’m sure you’ll do fine!

Yeah, keeping calm is really important. You might have a brainfart and forget stuff if you get too nervous. Since this is a oral test, I'm guessing you're reciting something or performing a skit. Well practice, practice, practice! When I had my second Japanese oral, I had to do it in front of the class and I forgot some of my lines--even though I knew it perfectly when I practiced. Still, I think I wouldn't have been as good if I hadn't practice that much (ie: my first oral test)

Good luck, a foreign language is always difficult.

SmallTown: You'll be fine, I'm sure. Foreign languages are difficult, but if you focus and can keep your mind on the task instead of your worries you will do well.

I have finals starting in less than a week I'm not looking forward to any of them...

I'll second that...Congratulations!! I'm sure you did well. I just had a "midterm" on Monday. I got a 62% while the average is 44.9% with standard deviation of 8%. It was a hard physics test.

Btw, what year are ya in Japanese? I remember discussing Japanese with you on the "Age" thread.

I completed 1st year last year. I had no room for Japanese this year, so I'm thinking of taking 2nd year intensive in the summer. That's a whole year worth of Japanese in one quarter!! I have friends in 2nd year Japanese right now, and they say that it is very difficult and a lot of work. But Japanese--and foreign languages in general--have always been easy for me. So, who know...

Yeah, the physics test was hard. Electromagnetism is supposedly the hardest course in the physics series.
