I really thought the Jeep would go a bit quicker, but good second time with the GTP. Just gotta keep working on it!

I'm with you I was alittle disappointed by the Jeep results but it is a Jeep and there were ALOT of 16 sec. cars out there so I was for sure not the slowest...some really sick fast ones to...

Well I would try and coach you guys, but my last reaction time that mattered (2 weeks ago at the track, I've been using a practice tree since and cut perfect lights, but thats in the house, not in the car, lol) was a sorry, pitiful, .120 !!

Still not sure where it came from, or if it was ligit (the track had been experiencing some computer trouble, even had to re-run the race 2 runs before mine due to a tree malfunction), but either way, I got a time slip with a big .120 for a reaction time! And that's with a delay box, trans. brake, and 2-step, , lol.

Re: Finally going to get some track times....

i personally thought the jeep woulda been a little faster. yes your r/t times are horrible!

i think my car will run a 16.3-16.4 how it is now. fully loaded and everything. idk when the last day at the track is for me, but im going to look into it. maybe ill drive down by miami and give gotian a run for his money in autox

Re: Finally going to get some track times....

Wow, that GTP is fast for being stock. It definitely puts down decent numbers. Pretty decent 60' for your first time out in it too. I'd expect the Jeep to be slow, as you have the smallest V8 in it.

Oh, launch as soon as you see the 3rd ember for a good reaction time. Practice, practice, practice.

I think I could have maybe gotten that GTP better times had I had another couple runs....next year I will be first in line...I dont know what the GTP is supposed to run stock, but after the Jeep times I was really happy to see 14's...
