Question D series Transmissions

If I were to stick with my d series motor and go turbo is there a d series tranny that would serve me better then my stock 96 ex tranny? is there other ones that maybe have a better set of gears in them or am I stuck with what i have? It's not like i don't like this tranny, it's just if there is something better out there i'd like to have it.

Go with a Dx tranny for longer gearing I Have Dx and My 1st gear is done at rev limit at 40 my 2nd gear rev limit is at 65 and three gear rev limit at 100

or you can go to Cx tranny I hear you can get 80 in 2nd gear
