Its located on the back of engine - almost under the distributor.
With the car cool remove the radiator cap, then drain coolant from radiator. Mmk... follow the radiator hose closest to the tranny... I think it's the upper one. when you get back to the block, there is a lil thingy there that has a ground wire attached to it... that bolt and the one across from it on the same piece you need to remove, under that is the 'stat.
