Very quick question

I know your supposed to wash your model before painting it in hot soap and water (dish soap, i am probably gonna use sunlight dish soap) and use an old toothbrush to help, but how long do i have to wash the plastic before it is clean (mold agent/chemical is cleaned off and removed) and can be painted?

thanks

Some will apply a few drops of soap to the roof area and work it around the entire car with a brush until all of it has been washed. Then rinse the model off completely and let air dry.

Some soak their models in a soapy bath . . . then rinse . . .

I've tried both and never had a problem with either.
