My bf has this one friend (I nicknamed her "the impotent skank") and seriously, although I am an angry person most of the time, I RARELY feel the need to crush someone's skull like eight thousand times.

She's seriously...a bitch...argh! Let me list some of the things that she does:

1. she makes my bf wash her car (sh*t, I don't even tell my bf to wash my car)

2. she likes to call in the middle of the night, just whine and complain about how her friends don't care about her.

3. she asked my bf to pick up her sister from teh airport because she sucks at driving (good thing bf is smart enough to say..uh..no)

4. forced her friend to DELAY taking off for her vacation so she can help her move a bed...a f*ckin' twin bed, not that heavy...

5. uses the "but I am a girl..." as an excuse for not EVER doing anything that requires the strength of two fingers instead of one.

Seriously, if it wasn't for the fact that she looks like a dog and that my bf is a dumb way-too-nice engineer, I'd think he's cheating on me by now...

any remedies?

and I am just listing things that happens repetitively...haven't even started getting into ridiculous sh*t that happen once every so often...

I swear...its useless crap girls like that that makes guys think we're all helpless idiots...

Well if I was in your shoes I would be having a serious talk with my b/f. Helping a friend out here n there is one thing, but bending over backwards the way he is for her is another thing. To me it sounds like she is a codependent leech and he is just a nice guy to a fault. He needs to tell her that you come first and that she needs to learn to start being an independent woman.

If I was a guy I think the "helplessness" would become a real turn off. Yes guys like to have the joy of doing something for a girl but I can only imagine it gets old when she can't do simple things. A twin bed? Lord I have moved an entire household's worth of furniture with little to no help. I can see helping out with huge things such as a couch or big screen tv. I certainly would not delay my plans to help someone with a simple task UNLESS the person was my ultimate best friend and it was a life n death matter...a real friend would never ask you to screw up your schedule unless there is a pressing matter.

As for whining and complaining....Cripes I hate that!!!! Hence the reason I don't have a lot of female friends. Most girls I have come across piss and moan about how lonely they are or even worse, talk shit about the guy they have in their life....he doesn't do this, or he screwed that up.....well maybe there's a reason. Yes alot of guys are jerks, but sometimes I wonder if these girls turn them into jerks.

One of our best guy friends has an evil wife, he literally rolls over for her and still his best is not good enough. She likes to flex the muscles of authority, especially when there's company. She sure knows how to pull the welcome mat out from under you when you go to their house.....ESPECIALLY when its another female. She treats me like an "other woman" yet I went to school with this guy and we've known each other 15 years

Back to the topic at hand, have a talk with him. Don't talk alot of shit about her, otherwise it might make him feel bad for her and make him more inclined to do more stuff for her. Perhaps you can even talk to her civilly (yes it will be hard) and tell her that this is your boyfriend and she needs to respect that. A call here n there to say hi is ok but your b/f is not her love/friend/moving feather piles counselor. Try not to show that it bothers you that much, otherwise that will keep her coming back for more.

If your boyfriend has any respect for you he should tell her to back off as well. Still be friends yes, but not her husband w/o benefits.
