Drivers Side Axle PRoblem

hey again nobody seemed to respond to my last problem i have 94 prelude vtec and i cant seem to get the drivers side axle out of the tranny ..Does it come out right by the tranny housing or is it like a three piece axle or something or am i just stupid ... i got the passenger side out but the driverside looks different where do i start thank you all very much ????? NEED ADVICE ??

the stub axle attaches to the hub at one end and an intermediate shaft on the other for the left side

if you're not sure, get a manual or someone more experienced.

it's rather simple, as you just insert a flathead screwdriver in between the cv joint and intermediate shaft and pry the two apart, as they're held together with a ring clip on the stub axle.

if you cant figure out where the two meet, unbolt the intermediate shaft's support bracket, and separate the mid shaft from the diff instead. you MAY have enough play in the cv joint to do this, and then again, you may not.

Hey man thats for ur help that helps out a lot but now i have to get a whole new drivers exle b/ec i pulled the c/v join a part do u know it the drivers side axle will come with a new intermediate shaft or what ???thanx again
