lifting 2001 4x4

I know i can get some height by adjusting the front torsion bars,is this a good idea? Will i do any harm to my truck by doing this? How much height could i expect to get?Would raising the back be as easy as adding a spacer between the rear shock and axel? What are your thoughts?

You can crank up the torsion bars but you'll lose ride quality and increase wear on front end componets. you could put a block on the rear axle but generally not more than 3 inchs for driveline angles. That's my but you could always get a body lift.
