yeah, i have a 97 gsr. I love that car. both cars have the b-series engine v tech. so, they are fairly the same. However, the prelude has the ungliest headlights. I can't stand how that car looks. Go with the integra

actually i believe that gen of prelude has a h23, not a b-series engine... and it does not have vtec(no H). im not sure which would have better handling, but the gsr would be quicker.

I am a subscriber to Car and Driver magazine. And EVERY, yes EVERY, year that they tested the best of the best the Prelude was named the best handling car for under $25,000. So the Prelude would be the car for going fast through the twisties, however, that gen prelude I also am pretty sure used a B-Series engine, I'm not positive but that's my guess. In either case the Integra would be faster, for two main reasons. A) The integra is MUCH lighter (GSR - 2150 lbs, Lude - 2700 lbs, I believe) and B) the Teg uses one of the best Honda/Acura motors made in my opinion, that being the B18C1. Now it doesn't beat a Type-R but the C1 is a more tunable engine than the ITR B18C5. With the compression Ratio being lower than the ITR, it is able to cope with more forced induction pressure on the stock internals (GSR - 8 psi, Type-R - 7.5 psi) not much difference I know but quarter-mile for quarter-mile it is. Now that of course is talking about an otherwise pretty much Stock engine. Anyways, I, personally, would get the GSR, but that's just me wanting to go fast on a straight line, if you want something you can race through winding mountain roads, get the Prelude. oh yeah, and that gen prelude is pretty ugly.

I own a Prelude Si in that gen and I want to say they are the best bodystyle and all 4th gen Ludes (92-96)came with H series engines (H22 vtec, H23 non vtec) I love my lude, so I would say the Lude.

the prelude si has an h23 engine in it, two of my friends own preludes so i guess what they know kinda rubs off on me haha plus i used to want a prelude not to mention i had a 3rd gen...*tear* aw that little car was fun..anyways so then the integra gsr is faster than the prelude si but the si has better handling? cause i know the preludes have good handling im just not sure how the gsr is cause none of my friends have an integra..but yeah hey if you guys would like to see my friends ride heres some pics on his cardomain page...paul farmer is the one with the sweeeet lude and mike has the pretty nice lude too.. http://www.cardomain.com/member_page...onda%20Prelude
