Exhaust tips

Found some $6 tips at WalMart, but do I have to drill a hole in the tailpipe to install it? Would it fall off otherwise?

$6, thats expensive, by me they are only 4, but anyway they should have a screw on them that you just tighten on top of the old pipe to attach it.
