Question Driven

Hello, I am wondering, does anyone know is that an actually video game that we see Jimmy Bly constantly playing in the movie "Driven"? If so can you tell me the name of it, it looks like it would be better then F1 2002 as it shows you all the errors you made and stuff.

Thanks in advance.

If you are into F-1 simulation games, F-1 Career Challenge by EA is a good game. I enjoyed playing Grand Prix Challenge by Atari. Both games can be found on the PS2. I think F-1 Career Challenge can be found on the Xbox as well.

I love it when, in a racing movie, the hero is slightly behind the bad guy with only a few hundred yards to go, cameraman switches to a shot of his right foot as our hero FULLY depresses the accelerator to blast past the baddie and win the race! Cue scenes of jubilation. Classic Hollywood. It’s as if the drivers don’t have their foot down all the time and one of them suddenly thinks “hey, this might be a good idea”.. “driven” was no exception to this bullshit

It's nice to see you can tell the difference between an F1 car and a CART car.

Driven is about CART, there isn't even the remotest relation to F1 in that movie.

Cheesy isnt the word for the 80s Cruise movies!

I was fully expecting at the end of DOT something along these lines:

"So, now you've won the Winston Cup. What are you going to do now?"

"I want to be an instructor at NASCAR!"

Yeah, Ive seen Top Gun a few too many times as well.

Smile

Movies about racing should have ended with "Le Mans" and "Grand Prix".
