What he said. My 87 did that same thing, I fixed it by getting an aftermarket deck.

I know, my 88's front speakers had no surround left at all, just glue.

88' models suck the dick on everything, but i had a tape deck in my 800$ special and i tried it once and it worked but i took it out as soon as i got an aftermarket cd deck, and i put a 10" sub in the middle of the glove box next to your shoulder. but i don't know about u guys, but my factory speakers were perfect. haha

u obviously no nothing about fiero's,and as for your front speaker's i don't givashit cause all can hear in mine is my northstar v-8 roarin and i think many would agree ,thats a much better sound than any music (unless of course it's metallica the it's the same ) so i am sure blueR026 and every other fiero fan could agree with me

Right you are. I've had two GT Fieros so far, and I drove the piss out of both of them (and still am in the case of the 88). 1988 Fieros are just better than previous years. My only complaint is with the aftermarket segment. (Read: "I need new hubs") I just wish people would think before they speak or type.

stabilizer7, if all you do is bitch about them why don't you sell your's and buy a honda? I don't think part prices are unreasonable, at all. It is interesting that you feel you must resort to petty name calling, however. If you don't like Fieros then fine. The purpose of the forums is to help others, so if you don't have any usefull infomation simply don't post.

Look here, most of your questions were answered. The only one that there wasn't a responce to was about the rubber seals around the pistons in the rear brake calipers. I wasn't sure so I didn't respond, consider getting rebuilt caplipers. Other than that find someone who knows how.
