1990 lumina cd player installation-please help
I have a 1990 Lumina Euro and just got a cd player for it from my brother. I can't figure out how to take out the dash around the stock radio and to have it professionally put in would cost over $100. Would really appreciate some help. Thanks.

heh ya its not cool. i have a 91 lumina apv, got a factory jetta deck that i wanna pop in so today i spent most of the time trying to take out the lumina deck. theres 2 screws on the left and the right that u gotta take off. use a ratchet. heres the catch tho, the glove box is in the way of the farther screw on the right side, so u'd have to take that off. unless u got a long thin ratchet. drop me a line and ill c if i can remember what i did exactly :P

Its so simple it isnt even Funny, these cars are so easy to steal a radio out of, but here it goes, open the passenger door, and where the heat comes out near the vent, grab the end of the plastic peiece either with ur hand or a flat head just gently pull it out and it should pop right off giving u access to the radio, i pop mine off all the time to mess with my radio, its only help in by lil clips so it should come right off, but be careful, hope this helps
