Intake installation help...

hey guys, i recently bought a cold air intake for my car, but not from a big name brand company, i drive a 96 Accord EX sedan.... The intake pipe, only has 1 hole drilled and a tube coming off for the vacuum tube, do i need to drill anymore holes? Will my car work properly if i dont have that, well.... that other thing on the intake pipe? i dunno what it is, its big and black, maybe the MAF? Help me out guys, thanks.

Sorry man, this is just too vague, so I can't help you much. Many intake incorporate a small port for a breather hose that leads to the valve cover. If you don't have one of these on your aftermarket intake, you can leave the hose off the valve cover and install a small breather filter.
