The 5.0 chickens out

I was cruising around the local mitsubishi dealership looking for a decent used car for my girlfriend when i see this 5.0 mustang driving around..lmao.. he killed it trying to peel out of the lot. Anyway i see this salesman come cruising around in an Eclipse GST and i think hmmm. He pulled up to his salesman buddy as the mustang pulled away and asked if it was a 5.0, the other salesman nodded and off Mr. Eclipse went as fast as he could. I thought, this is great i have to follow and see this myself. So i'm about half a length of a football field from the two cars who going down the one way road at at least 55 miles per hour in a 30mph, i caught up at the stoplight and they turned on to rt. 45 which is a two land road, they get at the top of the overpass and the Eclipse gets in the left lane. The 5.0 didn't want any, he peeled off onto the onramp in a cheap maneuver after having me and the Ecplipse driver to think he was gonna go to the stoplight. How disappointing, this could have been a decent matchup possibly. Maybe he just wasn't much of a refined manual tranny driver?

And possible the mustang driver got off at his exit because he had better things to do then jeopardize his license.

If I peeled out on private property & someone started following me I'd disappear, too.

It could be worse. I get every wannbe you can imagine wanting to line up the GTR. Yet the better cars usually wont. These are the same cars that had no problems testing my GTS-t skyline which is a 2wd 2litre turbo. Of course since it was pushing well over 300bhp they usually got delt to though a few did me.

considering he already broke a law or two i don't think he's the type of person who'd care about his driving license.

Well before he even got there he was hauling arse down the back stretch to get to the road, so i doubt that he cared on the next road. I think now, he prolly couldnt' handle stick that well.

You should try shifting with your left, right Razor?

I really do perfer shifting in my GTR, rather than the Stang.

If you saw me on the street you would probably never seem me really let my Stang rip. Just not worth my license. It would have to be some really sick car like an old muscle car with a big blower through the hood or a Ferrari. Something that would void my better judgement.

I kinda agree with 94SVT5.0. A speeding ticket or exhibition whatever is totally different than being caught street racing. Youre talking serious penalties. Besides if i was the 'stang driver I too wouldnt waste my gas trying to impress some four-banger let alone some other idiot thats following him... Dunno thats just my opinion.
