I didn't know ludes could fly...

So I'm coming home from an enchanting evening at the races.. I pull up next to this purple prelude SI at a stoplight. So I decide to test the water a bit and nudge up. He takes off, and I just pull ahead like normal. So i meet him again at the next light. I roll down the window: "hey, that an SI?" "Yea", he says. So I says to myself, "..shit, why not?"

Light turns green, we both go to it. I pull on him to about half a car length, then hit the brakes because of the fast approaching railroad tracks. This guy just KEEPS ON GOING, hits the tracks, and takes off. I couldn't see the front too well, but his back wheels were about 6-7 inches off the ground. He lands like a 747 without landing gear, sparks flying everywhere... At first I was like and then like and then .

So we roll up to the next light, where we are both turning opposite ways and I look over and he gives me the peace sign. I'm still laughing right now. Funniest goddamn shit I've ever seen.

I don't know, probably depends quite a bit on the ramp you are going off of. This particular one was a shallow incline that led to a steep incline.

hahah i got air w/ my mom's mercury sable. i had to drive that POS for a month w/ my car in the shop. then her power steering pump BROKE and i drove it w/ NO power steering for 3 weeks. yea u guys are all like "so what, my hatch w/ a b18c has no powersteering no problem". try driving a 5000+ old school mercury sedan.
i had blisters on my hands. anyways i hit a BIG dip at 30 mph and i got in the air. pretty fun. u guys should all try it.

I jumped my my Max twice it was sick, train tracks are the best... the second time I flew about 15 feet or maybe 20, and had all 4 wheels off the ground, hit the tracks at about 40... after that I'm not doing it anymore, I was lucky as hell that it made it, I didn't realize how fast I was going at the time... but it was fun as hell

So he 'won,' then? Maybe he's got a rally Prelude and was counting on the rough terrain.
