b18a1 swap help please !!!!!

im putting a ls in a 91 si and need some help, everyone i have talked to saids that i can use my stock clutch cable, but the clutch cable is to short so i have to pull up on the clutch lever (on the bottom front side of the tranny. Also is there any wiring i have to do? or does the si harness work perfectly. Last but not least the driver side axle is sorta sitting to the left and almost hitting the shock.

can someone please help me, i cannot find any sites about this swap and i would for someone who has done this swap before to help.

thx
Wes

yeah you can use your stock clutch cable but it needs to be modified, ok on the clutch cable there is a black rubber cover which u see on the outside, underneath that theres a metal spiral tubing, then inside that is the actually clutch cable itself. what u gotta do is cut off about an inch of that metal tubing and rubber covering, and that should make it long enough, i forget exactly how much u need to cut off but its around an inch or so

or u can just buy a integra clutch cable

also if your clutch lever goes up really high and it fits thats all good. its kind of hard to explain but when u pull up on that clutch lever, there should be free play up and down until it hits the clutch engaging point. kind of get it, like pull up on the clutch lever and when it stops, thats the point where the clutch starts to engage.

i dunno how you guys did it, but i just used my stock clutch cable. it worked fine. The wiring should be almost a direct plug in swap. All the plugs are the same since its an obd0 engine, like the d16a6. use your Si harness and transfer it over to the B18, should plug right in.

about the motor mounts, you should try to loosen every mount without taking the bolts completely out. then from there try moving the motor as much as possible, and then tightening everything back up. if that doesnt work, you can always ream the holes on the passenger side mount, and make them eggshaped, and then from there you have adjustability
