I imagine GM has a special tool for that, Flatrater will be able to help you when he checks back in.

Put an air gun to it. If it does not loosen up, warm the bolt to burn the locktite that is on the tread and try again. Once the bolt is out, you need a puller with 3 little, long bolts to screw into the harmonic ballancer and pull it out. Good Luck.

The bolts will not be in the kit. You will have to go to a hardware store and buy 4 inch skinny metric bolts to fit the holes. There three little holes in the ballancer. Make sure they fit nice and easy, don't cross thread them. Get some big washers too to fit the new bolts. Use the puller and new bolts and pull the ballancer out. When installing the ballancer, make sure the new crank sensor cleas the crank pulley. Rotate the crank pulley by hand twice clockwise to make sure the sensor is clear and will not be damaged.
Let me know if you need any more info.

They are 4" long 6mm metric bolts, available at home depot. That's where I used to get them from. I am sure they are still available. However I'm not sure if it is 6mm or 8mm. None of my techs have them with them.
Good Luck.

im working on one right now there is no bolt holes there .you must use 2 pry bars or large scrue drivers and get on both sides .watch out for the crank sensor and wabble it off it is not pressed on like most cars .and good luck .p.s you must get the bolt tight putting it back on .i mean tight or you will lose your motor
