as far as the car goes you know what shape it is in, so if you want to know the market value of the car you can go to either www.kbb.com or www.nada.com both can give you a "value" for the car. but if you want a fast car that isnt it. if you want a car that gets good gas mileage and is a nice car to drive a GS is good for that. thats just my thoughts. good luck.

thank you

thanks...he was showing me the value of it in NADA and it is around 10,000 dollars, considering the mileage. So any other replies/opinions are welcome, thanks!

shes a girl. Alot of girls really dont want a turbo car. If she likes the way the eclipse looks and wants a cheaper way to own one , Power to her.

but in response to is it worth it , you should be able to find better.

I got a 1998 GSX awd Turbo , with mods listed in my sig. W/ 89k miles on it . for 8k . So keep looking.

You could probably find a GS-X or GS=T for that price if you looked hard enough. That GS is ok, the milage is good. There was a kid at my school selling a RS for 80K w/ only small mod like neons and crappy rims w/ probably nothing done to the engine. Also it depends how your going to use that car, if your going to race get a GS-X or GS-T, but if you want a semi-fast car thats looks pretty good get a GS or RS but you can proably find a better price, but the prices where you live might be different then where I live so good luck.
