I want along to my place of work with friends including girls and i got suspended because i was apparently supposed to be working that day.

Now i had filled in the appropriate holiday request form and checked that i had two weeks off. I was told and i confirmed that i would be starting back sunday. IS IT SUNDAY? no. Anyway this is how it went.

I walked in got my free 4 tickets. (I actually guessed this morning this would happen - bad chi) Proceeded into the main foyer. I saw a friend of mine who started working again over the summer had no idea he was going to come back and work for this horrible company.
Anyway he told me i was supposed to be working i was like o well.
Then a woman who is an administrator and notable an annoying cow came up and told me (hand on her hip) "you do realise you're supposed to be working today!"
"i am o well"
Then as i walked outside to go to ASDA (Walmart owns this place) and the Duty manager came up behind me and said you're supposed to be working.

Yea whatever i'm supposed to on holiday and i'm not going to talk about it.

I came back and she was waiting for me when i was going into the screen.

She told me i was suspended and i had to leave. I was majorly pissed off because not only did they do this they didn't pay me enough for my holiday any way i had to go tell my friends and she threw three of us out. I was like whatever so i walked off out a fire exit. She followed us after turning around and started bantering (thing is she gets on anyones nerves she pisses off the customers when she talks) Cuz she threw three of us out one of us managed to stay in hey they were on my tickets. I should've kept my mouth shut they could have stayed in. Actually i was planning to just watch the film anyway. I didn't get to she started mounthing off. I said whatever stormed out the fire exit and my brother was shouting fuck off. she walked towards the main foyer and did a U-turn and caught up with us. She then told my friend instead of me that they were going to send me a letter. She was STANDING RIGHT FUCKING NEXT TO ME. So he says "Pete you're going to get a letter." You're suspended and some shit about a disaplinary meeting. Then i came back with my defence "I AM SUPPOSED TO BE ON HOLIDAY i'm not supposed to be working till tomorrow!" You didn't fill in the holiday request form. YES I FUCKING DID. Then she says something else so i shouted fuck off i've had enough of this fucking place i FUCKING QUIT.
I wished i said you can take your job and shove it and some shit about her not going to uni and she's dumb and she's taking out her issues on me but i didn't i probably would've stuttered if i said anything remotely intelligent other then i quit. (i know shouting fuck off O so many times to one of your bitch ass bosses isn't a good idea. but i was pissed off and seemed like i was pissed because i had socome to my rage. My brother then proceeded to say fuck off a tonne more times and she went back inside. He was about to smack her one in the face THANK GOD SHE WENT BACK INSIDE.
So trivial but she is so aggrovating that i was foaming at the mouth, so to speak.

I wish i took that job at Game over christmas even tho it was temp i might've been able to stay.

I don't plan on continuing working here. My brother wants to say that he said all the fuck you's etc so i can get away with it and since we were the only witnesses we can get away with it and hopefully shaft her.

Thats not before i go off about how they failed to pay me all my holiday pay.

I wanna walk into that disaplinary with a solid defence so she can't get me. I got people to back me up

i've not been fired yet just on paid suspension but thanks for the advice Taranaki hopefully i'll be able to put it to some use

When I worked at Countdown, I got put on paid suspension. Best thing they ever did to me. This was after they threw me out of a meeting when I told them it was illegal.

I'm desperate to quit but i want to stir up a shit storm first.

I heard about working at Gatwick Airport has a good rate of pay.
Although the person who told me goes to Cambridge so anyone would hire him. He gets like £10 an hour apparently and he reads books all day whilst sometimes having to direct people. I'm not entirely sure as to what he does though.

I looked on the BAA website

working in Duty Free pays 7.42 an hour which isn't bad. I'd need two 10 - 10 shifts though or something like that to beat what i get at the moment which isn't a lot for 38 hours a week whilst going to university as well. Partly why i can't stand the place.

I sent in a letter of resignation after recieving a letter requeting me attending an interview TODAY! I recieved the freaking letter this morning and the time for the meeting was 12 midday FREAKING MORONS WAY TO GO GIVING ME APPROPRIATE WARNING TIME! I sent my resignation and it basically said that one manager was lying and that i had been insulted by two manager (one of them was giving me the interview about me not attending work, this guy was also the fuc*ing idiot who was there watching me fill out the holiday request form and should realise why i was moaning like a freaking bitch).

I also moaned about the fact they did not pay me in full for my holiday.

one word FUCK i should've demanded the rest of my holiday pay and told them that i expect my first week (which was held back to be paid) SHIT they're going to stiff me i know it. I also said i didn't care about the indescrepency in the holiday pay when NOW I DO the letter's already sent and i'm in the process of convincing myself they'd only prove why its only £25 pounds (ASSHOLES)
