custom taillights, please help me out

hey guys im new around here but i had a quick question. im lookin for lights for my honda accord LX, sedan. i found the ferrari wannabe lights where the bezel is black and the lights POP OUT. and i really hate that... i was wonderin if anyone knew where i could get those types of lights without the pop out. thanks in advance.

The only company that Ive seen that makes those is TYC, and I dont think they have something other than the pop-out style as you called it. If you dont want them to "popout" you could make some fiberglass covers for the taillights with circular cutouts in them, thats what I did with my civic. To do this, follow these steps:

Remove the lights from you car.

Tape off the rear of the taillight, then cover the remaining uncovered portion (front) with tape as well (make sure they are completely covered and sealed so no fiberglass gets through).

Lay 1-2 layers of fiberglass mat on the front of the taillight and let cure.

Remove the glass piece from the taillight.

Trim the edges.

Using a rotozip or some other cutting tool, make cutouts in whatever shape you desire in the fiberglass.

Sand, Prime, Paint.

Hopefully that made sense, if it didnt just PM me and Ill answer any questions you have.

oh thats tight man. i was thinkin of doin it, but i didnt know whwere the proccess would start. would it be easier just to find either black or carbon bezels, and put em on the outside of the lights? or would that look ridiculous? btw those are lexus style lights on that honda huh? awesome stuff, ill think bout doin that

Yeah I think he was trying to go for the whole IS 300 look, but also just trying to cover up his altezzas some because people at our school give him no end of grief for them haha

you know, i wouldnt mind doin that same thing. maybe for that look of TYC, with one big and one little circle and a thingy at the side, with a cutout bezel, but i gonna ask this. what other kinds of tail lights are available for sale? ive only seen altezzas in like 5 different styles, thats all.
