You can purchase a set of clear outer lenses and paint the brake portion of the lenses with "Transparent Candy Apple Red" paint. I painted the outside of my lenses but there are some that have opened their lenses and painted the inside. You can pick up the paint at any hobby shop or Wal-mart. Good luck finding clear lenses. I believe they might have discontinued making them and what remaining sets in the stores/shops are all that are left. One more tip make sure you put a couple layers of clear coat on them so they don't fade too quick.

Well you'll need at least 5-6 coats of paint. Make sure you start out thin so it doesn't run. You'll need that many coats of clear coat too to help protect the paint and give it some gloss. I also used Red Polarg bulbs to give it a deep, rich red color. I painted mine at night (garage) so that I could compare the painted portion with the OEM lens. I just painted it with a few coats and let dry for a few minutes them put them in place and had someone step on the brakes so that I could gauge how dark they were.

USE PATIENCE TOO, painting can be a bitch and if you dont let it dry and stuff, you wont have good results, so give it a long time to dry inbetween each coat even if you have thin coats.

Let it dry so that it's at least dry to the touch and doesn't look wet.

Whichever one you are more comfortable with. I used a spray paint and would think it would be easier to apply. With a brush you may have a difficult time keeping it uniformly the same thickness. I cannot comment on the brush on paint since I haven't had any experience with it.
