My daughter has a 1994 Ford Escort and the heater core went out in it and I woul like to know if it would damage the engine if I by-passed it? If not could someone please tell me how it is done. Thank you very much.

it does not hurt to bypass the heater core, i had mine bypassed for years until recently. Simply disconnect the two hoses connected to the heater core (located in the center right up against the firewall). U'll need to buy a connector that slips in the end of one hose and the other with slip on the the other end. Tighten your hose clamps and your bypass is complete
