Question

I recently bought a 528e from an auction. I cannot locate the release for the gas tank door. Can anybody help me before I run out of gas?!

Umm, i'd say on the lower door, or somewhere by the hood release.

thanks, but these didn't help

I figured it out.... There's no latch at all. Even the BMW dealer couldn't find one. (Took the smug know-it-all grin right off his face). It has something to do with the 'vacuum' in the door lock. There's a short there. When you unlock the door, the vacuum is supposed to unlock all the door, plus gas door and truck.
