HAS nothing to do...

I really dont care about a rev limit. I took my car out to a back road so I could top it out and at 3th gear I was at 100 before I redlined then I shifted to 4th and it move to 105 and stayed there LOL i want it to go to 140 or 150. I dont want the speed limiter to kick in ever

Okay, is this a statement or a question? You need to stop posting useless stuff. Keep this stuff in the right section. This would better suit the Let's get Technical forum. Post stuff that is 92+ Civic specific in here. This is Honda/Acura general type stuff. This is getting out of hand.

Hmmm.. you already started a thread on this topic and then you start a new one instead of replying to the original. You're just wasting bandwith. Oh and every Honda/Acura has a rev limiter and speed limit and guess what???? They're all the same so like I said before, keep it in the right section.

There are pleanty of places online that offer to chip your ECU or build custom ones... just got to look around at places online.
Or go ask your local performance shop about it, they should be able to point you in the right direction or might be able to do it themselves

Personally unless you've got a full blown race car, I don't believe you should be removing either the rev limit nor the speed limiter.. they are there to protect YOU, YOUR CAR, and whoever else may reside on the road with you at the time.
I've seen so many accidents lately from people racing and trying to see how fast they can go (illegally).

So please, at least for my sake, keep any 'testing' or 'racing' you do to your car at an actual race track so you only risk your life and your car.

THE ANSWER

for around $115 you can buy a pivot speed meter. just do a search and you'll find it. I have it on my car and It never shut off at 120 again. It will only go 150 bc i need more power. anyway down side instructions are in Japanese. I'm an electronics tec. so It was kinda easy for me but you might want to just find your speed sensor wire and cut it in 1/2 then put 1 wire to the ecu and other to speedo. and +12 and gnd. there is a switch on the back I believe it goes to the right. and trust me you wont shut off again. It lets you go to 198 mph!!!!! of course unless your hondata you wont get that far

I have a 94 EX and it doesnt seem to have a speed limiter... I got it up to 125? Maybe the previous owner did away with it somehow?

That's about how fast you can go in a 1992-1995 Civic Ex.
