Brake Light,,directional lights not working!!!!

Brake lights do not work,,,though center back door light does work,,,,directional lights ,,,front and rear do not work but have indication of them working on dash,,though dash flasher acts like a shorted bulb,,,hazard lights also do not work though dash does flash as they are working.....Any Ideas ?????,,,,this is a 07 uplander-LS ....thanks...gbaum

Check the multi function switch in the steering column. Similar thing happened to my mom's Astro and it turned out the multi function switch was bad.

Thanks,,,,I will be checking with 2 guys that work for a GM dealer on their thoughts,,,was questioning the body control module as the problem,,,nice to hear if some one has had the same issue,,instead of blindly ripping stuff apart....

just to update you ,,,,problem was the body control module,,,replacement was not bad,,,required a re-set of the anti-theft system,,,radio theft system,,,re-learn engine crank sensor........
