CLK noise

Hello, I have a clk auto, which is making a noise like a duck or a grudging noise. It is more noticeable at low speed. Can this be caused by low fluid in the differential? The noise does appear to be from the rear. I am in the uk, sorry do not know how to change location on this forum.
