dentist drill like noise & rattling noise
well today i was going about 90 and down shifted to 4th and got up to about 120,... and a few hours later i started hearing a dentist whizzing drill like noise starting around 1500 rpm then at around 4000 rpm i also heard a rattling noise coming from like the passenger side around the engine tranny area,... well i don’t really push my car that often I never red line it i just shift before it and do this or down shift on the freeway maybe once a week or once every two weeks,.... should i take my car to get a diagnostic check ??? any suggestions or info would be appreciated....

my maintinace light always comes on when i start up the car same thing with the check engine light but i have my air box cover removed, they just come one the same time as all the other lights on the dash area, is this normal ???
