1996 Mecury Sable Mods

Hello every one....hello shorod....i wanted to check if there is any bodykits for a 1996 mercury sable....or do 1996 fourd taurus body kits fit a sable?.....also would 18 inch rims fit on my sable?.....thank u guys...thank u shorod...u helped my tranny probem...and u helped a guy out with his dpfe sensor which i read about and helped me...lol...thanks

You're welcome on the prior help. I don't have really anything to offer you on the body kit or wheel question. If you size the wheels and tires correctly, yeah, they will fit, but you will want to work with someone who knows which sets will fit. You need to get the correct backspacing and tire profile to ensure they don't rub.

Having been rear ended in my 98 sable (same bumper as 96) and it messed up everything under the bumper except the outer shell, I took a taurus apart in the junk yard and discovered they are in fact very different. So you can't use the rear. The sides are exactly the same, so that is ok. The front depends on if you are going with an attachment to the bottom, or a replacement for the front. An attachment is ok, but with a replacement you will have to go to the junk yard and get taurus lights and mounts, grill insert etc. because they are not interchangeable.
