.

I like the 2nd one's paint job but those are awful wheels. The first one looks like the wheels are photoshopped, mainly the rear, but the reflection off the chrome seems to be correct. The last one is definately photoshop. The others, ugly.

It's a Plymouth RoadRunner SuperBird if im not mistaken, and their twin teh All might Dodge Daytona
Completely anniliated everything in 1970's in NasCar only there for 2 seasons and they were banned I think.

the funniest part of that spoiler is that the size is because they needed clearance to open the trunk and for some reason they didnt just mount it on the trunk lol. and he is dead on on hwat kind of car it is.

It's also very functional, very strong, and is part of what made the SuperBird the domination car of the 70's. I have seen pictures of that wing holding 2 people standing on it. And yes SuperBird was banned, cause it was such a tough car to compete against.

How do you know?

I think they knew what they were doing... After all race car designers dont make a living at designing useless equipment. It was its size for a reason.

they must have known what they were doing, they dont make a wing 4 ft tall for no reason

quote from "American V8s Burn Rice Daily"

Now on some cars, a wing actually works. What the wing is designed to do in those situations it to apply downforce to the back wheels. The spoiler was invented for REAR wheel drive cars, so down force on the rear wheels is helpful in those situations. Now Hondas are front wheel drive so even if the spoiler did apply downforce it is applied to the wrong side of the car. Please not that most rice wings are bargain-basement, one-size-fits-all Pep Boys models that do nothing but slow the car down due to the aerodynamic drag they create.

now i have an excuse to put a bigass wing on my car too bad i just dropped my car off at a body shop to have its holes filled yesterday. maybe in the future i'll do that i'll find an old superbird and pop that wing on my car

j/k j/k
