Re: domestic rice taken to new unimaginable extremes

Um... I don't think that is really 'RICER'. It's just a car (truck?) prepped for RALLY in Europe. Everything looks functional... even the fog-lights.

It's not for looks (the body kit and fog-lights)... I'm sure they actually use this for RALLY. Many people say the EVO looks ricey... but the educated know it's looks are RALLY inspired!

yeah i know the evo is rally inspired...

however take a second glance at the mini in this picture.
pointless hood. too low to the ground for rally. pickup version for rally? dont think so. argh, my opinion is that it is clearly riced out, and probably hasz the stock engine underneath. this car is cllleaarly not designed for rally. just look at the real rallying minis for that.

Re: domestic rice taken to new unimaginable extremes

Um, there are TARMAC courses where a lowered vehicle would have an advantage and I'm sure you have heard of adjustable ride height? Most RALLY cars have this option because courses are constantly changing in 'texture'. How is the hood pointless? It has cooling vents. The Pickup conversion is a little odd, I'll admit... but that roll-bar is no joke.

My take on it:

Walking the thin line between Rice and Hardcore Race Inspired.

i dont know why but i cant rid myself of the feeling that this isnt for rally. ive seen quite a few rally prepped mini's and none looked like that. they looked more like the one at the back actually. also what the hell is up with that wing? the front bumper looks really off. the car and its very low to the ground. minis are really low anyway, theres no point lowering them further. the headlight conversion looks tacky and so do the mirrors. i dont have anything against rice if its done tastefully. infact i quite like it. this however is disgraceful. a classic car shouldnt be treated like that

yea maybe but that car is junk and its got the Metro's headlights which is stupid
IE Metro 6R4 wannabe

EVO are rally inspired but then again they'd get whooped by a mile around one lap of a circuit by a rally car. The difference between the rally team's car and the road car is ridiculous to say the least.

by the way anyone saying that car is rally preped is talking BS its fucking bollocks the car is complete and utter shite and the biggest piece of BS to come from some twat in england ever. It'll never race in a rally and it'll never win anything its bodykit shit gone wrong. DIY ricering.
