Fujimi Dome Zero RL
This is the Enthusiast series full version. It's old kit that is ill fitting and fiddly in places but it's just such a unique and cool car I kept at it. It needs some touch up here and there but the chassis is done. The decals will be fun too. Allot of the suspension rods were replaced with metal rods for sturdiness. There is no rear chassis so the engine to bulkhead hods the whole rear end up so I have a metal rod spine run through the block and transmission that goe into the bulkhead.

Glad to see you have built this one again, it's been a long long time!
I can't wait to see the results of your magic skills on this one. |

Re: Fujimi Dome Zero RL
Very nice! One of my friends is building the same model...he attempted it for our 24 Hour LeMans build but quickly realized there was no way in the world that would happen, so he slowed down and is doing it right.

Re: Fujimi Dome Zero RL
Interesting build. I also built this model, and will soon post the pictures.
What surprised me are the (correct) rear wheels. These were present at their kit or have it rebuilt front wheels from a second kit? |

Re: Fujimi Dome Zero RL
Thanks Bob, it definitely is not a good pick for a 24hr build, maybe the curbside version that is also available.

Re: Fujimi Dome Zero RL
The wheels are from a second kit. I had to scratch build the wheel centers. I have never found a picture of the car with the kit provided rear wheels.
