OK, let me get this straight......you checked for spark on each cylinder, one at a time, and there was no spark on #3 cylinder #6 cylinder? Did you attach a spark tester to the end of each ignition wire to test each coil?

So you replaced the coil AND the ICM(were these new or used parts?)......and the same problem....once again, did you test this with a spark tester at the end of the ignition wires, one at a time?

Have you checked the plugs on each cylinder? Have you checked the wires to each cylinder?

Kind of Puzzling, since no spark on 3/6 is usually the coil or ICM.....

I was using a spark tester, and of course a used coil and module, I bit the dust and will be trying a new module in about 30 min., will let you know how it works tonight. This car has had packrat problems but I don't see any wires that have been damaged..

Couple things I would have done....swap 3/6 coil with 5/2 coil......if you now have spark on cyl#3 and cyl#6(but don't have it on 5&2 cylinders), then the coil is the problem......if you still don't have spark on 3&6 cylinders(put 5/2 coil back in original position and leave 3/6 coil off), attach a test light to the two connectors on the ICM for 3/6 coil....now crank engine....test light should flash when you crank the engine......if it doesn't flash, bad ICM....

I tried a new module and then the car wouldn't start, bought another one and it ran but still 3 and 6 was dead, installed a new coil and 3 started working. I put new wires on and another coil and it seems fine except the low coolant lite came on, ground squirrel had chewed the wires behind the headlite assembly. Delivered car with instruction to BUY A CAT!..
